Sewage Service

Sewer service is provided by the City of San Angelo Water Utilities and included on the same monthly municipal services statement as water. The Water Reclamation division treats all wastewater to meet state permit requirements. No separate signup is required—sewer service is automatically established when you set up water service.

Garbage & Recycling

Republic Services handles trash collection under contract with the city. Garbage is collected weekly, while recycling and bulk trash alternate every other week. Trash service is included on your city water bill and established through Water Customer Service at 325-657-4323. Use the interactive map at sanangelo.gov/trash to find your collection day, and set carts out by 7 a.m. For service issues, contact Republic Services directly at 325-481-7726.

You'll need a completed Residential Application form, Utility Services Acknowledgment & Right to Access form, valid photo ID, and proof of residence such as a lease agreement or sales contract. Forms are available as PDFs on the city website.

The minimum residential deposit is $100 for a standard 5/8" meter, plus a $20 activation fee. Your actual deposit amount depends on your credit history with Water Utilities. Deposits are refunded after four years of on-time payments.

The Water Customer Service office is at 301 W. Beauregard Ave. in the City Hall Annex on the first floor. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with connections scheduled between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
