Sewage Service

Sewer service is provided by the City of Wichita Falls and billed together with water and refuse on a single utility bill. The city’s Wastewater Collections Department maintains 550 miles of sanitary sewer mains. Sewage is treated at the Wichita Falls Resource Recovery Facility in compliance with EPA and TCEQ regulations.

Garbage & Recycling

The City of Wichita Falls Sanitation Department provides twice-weekly trash collection included on your utility bill. Collection days depend on your location: Monday and Thursday north of Kell Freeway, Tuesday and Friday south of Kell Freeway. Containers must be out by 7:00 AM. The city offers drop-off recycling at fire stations and United Supermarkets locations, plus optional curbside organics recycling on Wednesdays.
