Sewage Service

Sewer service is bundled with water on City of Denison utility bills. Sewer charges appear as a separate line item alongside water and refuse fees. For after-hours sewer emergencies, residents can call 903-464-4427.

Garbage & Recycling

The City of Denison provides weekly trash collection within city limits. Residents receive a 95-gallon cart and must bag all trash, with carts placed at the curb by 6:30 AM on collection day. Republic Services handles recycling pickup every other week, accepting plastics #1-5 and #7, cardboard, glass, and metal cans. Bulk collection occurs six times yearly in even-numbered months. A deposit is required to establish new water service. Contact the utility office at 903-465-2720, option 1, for the specific deposit amount. The deposit is applied to your final bill when you close your account.
