Sewage Service

Wastewater and sewer service is provided by the City of Edinburg Utilities Department and is included with your water service on the same monthly bill. The department manages wastewater collection and treatment programs. Note that the City does not perform sewer taps—a sewer tap permit must be obtained by a licensed plumber through the Building Safety Department.

Garbage & Recycling

The City of Edinburg Solid Waste Management Department provides exclusive garbage and recycling services to residents. Collection runs Monday through Friday starting at 7:00 a.m., with recycling collected on Wednesdays. Garbage costs are added to your monthly water bill.
